A pattern isn't finished just because it's been created. Sewn Prototyping comes next: sewing it in the intended material is what lets the pattern and product actually be evaluated together, and any needed changes get made before development continues.
What Do I Need to Get Started?
You don't need to know how to make a pattern yourself, just enough to show and explain what you're creating: a sketch, photos of specific details, a reference garment, or even a rough prototype you’ve stapled, taped or glued together will work.
