An Undershirt Designed to Disappear Beneath an Open Collar
Prosper Nwokocha created AYVYwear after struggling to find an undershirt he could wear beneath an open-collar shirt without it showing. He came to us with an idea for a deeper neckline and two collar concepts designed to solve a problem he couldn't find addressed in existing men's undershirts.
We developed the patterns and produced multiple sewn prototypes, testing different fabrics as Prosper refined the fit, feel and coverage he wanted. Once the design and material were resolved, we prepared the tech pack for production. Prosper went on to find a manufacturer and launch AYVYwear, turning his original solution into a growing menswear brand.

Extended-size riding apparel for young equestrians
Heather Boldin founded Whinny Equestrian after struggling to find well-fitting show clothing for her young plus-size daughter. Her collection of jodhpurs, shirts and show coats helps young riders feel comfortable, confident and ready for the ring.
Heather came to us with a collection already in development that needed further work on fit and sizing. We revised the patterns, reworked the grading and developed updated samples, helping prepare the collection for manufacturing. Whinny subsequently moved into production with a Seattle-area cut-and-sew business.

Postpartum Recovery Garments Designed by an OB/GYN
OB/GYN physician Catalina Bernal-Schmidt founded Luna Azzurra Care to support women through postpartum recovery and pelvic discomfort. Her garment concepts included recovery pants with pockets for hot and cold packs, and a wrap top designed for breastfeeding access.
We worked with Catalina to develop and refine patterns and sewn samples, using feedback to improve materials, fit and construction. We then prepared graded sizing and tech packs and supported the transfer of development materials to Lefty Production Co. for manufacturing. The resulting garments became part of Luna Azzurra Care's recovery collection.

Romantic Womenswear with Gathered Silhouettes
Designer Terriann Etana Mohamed created Springtime & Harvest around romantic, gathered silhouettes. She came to us with her own patterns and a clear vision, seeking support with the technical details of producing her gathered designs.
We reviewed and refined her patterns and coordinated with a specialist to explore gathering techniques. As the team evaluated construction costs, the designs evolved to use elasticated channels that retained the gathered appearance while simplifying production. This work helped Terriann prepare her designs for manufacture and launch Springtime & Harvest.

A Bookmark That Lets You Carry Your Book, Too
Author and creator Corine Marie developed a bookmark that also lets readers carry their book by a handle. With orders growing, she needed help producing the fabric component consistently while preserving the look and feel of her original design.
We began with test sewing, then produced small batches and worked with Corine to refine the sewing process, address material variations and plan manageable quantities. This support helped her keep filling orders while gathering the production information she would need to prepare for larger-scale manufacture.

Breast Support Designed to Reduce Bounce During Exercise
Inventor Frankie Elder wanted to make exercise more comfortable for women with larger breasts. She brought us a concept sketch for a support garment designed to reduce breast movement while being worn over a sports bra.
We helped develop the idea through pattern development and sewn prototypes, then prepared the pattern grading and tech pack for manufacturing. When Frankie found a local manufacturer, we answered technical questions about the design and development materials. She went on to produce small batches, gather customer feedback and refine Wrax through real-world testing.

A Protective Layer for Cold Days on the Slopes
Skier John Trousdale created Ass Gasket after too many cold, wet chairlift rides. He came to us with a reference image and clear ideas for an adjustable neoprene garment that would move comfortably with skiers and snowboarders.
We developed the pattern and refined details such as angled hook-and-loop fastenings and shaping darts. John tested the design with users before we prepared grading for men's, women's and children's versions and completed the tech pack. With those development materials in place, he found a manufacturing partner and launched Ass Gasket.

A Versatile Birthing Garment Designed by a Labor and Delivery Nurse
Labor and delivery nurse Melanie Webster wanted mothers to have a comfortable garment that could adapt throughout birth. Her Loula design can be worn as a gown or as a separate top and skirt, with adjustable features for coverage and access.
We reviewed and refined the pattern, working through the skirt wrap, material choices and snap fastenings. Melanie tested successive versions with mothers, and we developed the size range, size chart and tech pack. These materials helped her work with suppliers and a manufacturing partner to bring the Loula Labor Gown to market.
