Founded in 2020, MADE helps creators move sewn-product ideas toward production with clarity and confidence. Whether you’re refining a first concept, improving an existing design, or strengthening a home-studio workflow, we take a structured, transparent approach that supports consistent quality and informed decision-making.

We support a wide range of soft-goods concepts — from apparel to innovative sewn designs — using professional tools such as CLO3D, Alvanon digital forms, and established industry standards. These tools allow fit, construction, and performance to be evaluated early, reducing revisions and creating a stronger foundation for manufacturing.

Clients working with MADE gain clear guidance through each stage of the process and receive production-ready deliverables alongside the practical knowledge needed to make confident decisions as their business grows. We communicate clearly, keep your vision central, and maintain an organized, predictable workflow from initial concept through final approval.

We value collaboration, respect, and inclusivity, and work with creators of all backgrounds in a professional, judgment-free environment. If you’d like to explore your idea, we invite you to book a free 30-minute video consultation to discuss next steps.

Meet the Founder - Heather Zager

Woman using a rotary cutter to cut fabric on a work table in a sewing or craft room, with sewing machines, fabric spools, and organization on the walls in the background.

Heather discovered her passion for technical design after enrolling in an introductory patternmaking course in 2014, an experience that quickly clarified her career direction. She went on to complete the Apparel Design and Development program at Seattle Central College, earning her Associate of Applied Science degree two years later.

Since graduating, Heather has worked with a range of established and innovative companies, contributing to the development of sewn products and wearable tech. Her experience includes two years at Meta, where she supported the design and development of virtual reality wearable gear.

In 2024, MADE was recognized as Seattle SCORE’s Client of the Quarter, and Heather recently returned to her alma mater to teach patternmaking—bringing current, real-world product development practices into the classroom and reinforcing a deep command of both foundational technique and modern industry standards.

In addition to client work, Heather has developed and launched her own patent-pending product, Zcissors, demonstrating MADE’s hands-on product development expertise and real-world experience bringing innovative concepts from idea to market.
