Suite Stitch is a sustainable fashion brand on a mission to integrate social responsibility and design to empower women to confidently reach their full potential. The brand creates stylish, versatile pieces for modern go-getters and world changers, with each product thoughtfully designed, made using eco-friendly materials, and produced in socially responsible factories.

The Designer: Randi Ponce

Owner/Founder of Suite Stitch - Randi Ponce

Founder Randi Ponce combines a background in Apparel Design and Merchandising with six years of experience in the Corporate Social Responsibility industry. Through her work supporting safe, healthy, and dignified working conditions, she developed a deep understanding of the impact the fashion industry can have on both people and the planet.

These experiences shaped her belief that fashion does not need to come at the expense of workers or the environment. Instead, she envisioned a brand that could create stylish products while supporting ethical manufacturing practices and reducing environmental impact.

This vision ultimately became Suite Stitch—an ethical womenswear brand designed to align with its values, empower women, and contribute to positive change within the apparel industry.

The Project

Suite Stitch launched its debut product, the Jill Dress, a versatile garment designed for both professional and everyday wear. Through the use of discreet zippers, the design transforms into four separate looks:

  • Three-quarter sleeve dress

  • Sleeveless dress

  • Three-quarter sleeve blouse

  • Sleeveless blouse

Designed for year-round wear, the Jill Dress combines versatility with comfort. The fabric provides gentle stretch for a flattering fit, while practical details such as full-sized pockets add everyday functionality.

Beyond product development, Suite Stitch also focused on building a community of professionals, go-getters, and world changers interested in sustainable fashion, career growth, and personal style.

The brand also created a Guide to Sustainable Fashion to help consumers better understand topics such as eco-fashion, ethical fashion, greenwashing, materials, design, and production.

Outcomes

Suite Stitch successfully launched a product that reflects the brand's commitment to sustainability, versatility, and social responsibility.

The Jill Dress demonstrates how thoughtful design can offer multiple styling options within a single garment, encouraging a more intentional approach to fashion consumption.

In addition to its product offering, Suite Stitch established itself as a resource for sustainable fashion education and community-building, helping consumers make more informed choices about the clothing they wear.

Conclusion

Suite Stitch was founded on the belief that well-designed products can create positive change. By combining apparel design expertise with a strong commitment to social responsibility, Randi Ponce built a brand focused on empowering women while supporting more ethical and sustainable practices within the fashion industry.

The launch of the Jill Dress and the brand's educational initiatives reflect Suite Stitch's mission to create products and resources that benefit both people and the planet.
